GigBalance Android Privacy Policy

This Android privacy policy explains how GigBalance collects, uses, and protects data in the Android app, including Android-only features such as Live Assistant for delivery offer review.

Data we collect

Android Live Assistant

GigBalance includes an optional Android-only Live Assistant feature for gig drivers. When the user turns Live Assistant on and grants Android Accessibility permission, GigBalance may read visible delivery offer text from supported driver apps to calculate pay per hour, pay per kilometer, and accept/reject guidance.

Live Assistant only runs when the user enables it in GigBalance. The feature is designed to work only in supported driver apps, such as Uber, DoorDash, Instacart, Postmates, and Grubhub. GigBalance hides the floating assistant outside supported driver apps.

GigBalance does not accept, reject, click, tap, control, or change settings in other apps. GigBalance does not read passwords. Visible offer text processed by Live Assistant is used to show the floating offer estimate and is not sold or used for advertising.

How we use data

Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. We use service providers such as Firebase, Google authentication services, and RevenueCat to provide app functionality, authentication, cloud storage, and subscription management.

Data security

User data is encrypted in transit. Account and app data is stored using cloud services with access controls.

Account and data deletion

Users can delete their account in the GigBalance app from the Account screen by tapping Delete account. Deletion removes the account and associated app data.
